Relive the golden age of arcade gaming
The first year we were able to host a Ready Player One arcade tournament with a Black Tiger cab as the prize for the winner. Year two saw the introduction of the “Play the Creator” challenge featuring John Newcomer and his creation, Joust, along with a Galaga high-score challenge. With another cab prize!
These tournaments, prizes, and the Arkham Arkhade are all do to Rogue Synapse, the sponsor of the Let’s Play Gaming Expo’s Arkham Arkhade. Rogue Synapse has agreed to once again not only to return, but come back with another great arcade tournament. We’re happy to announce that they’ll… be giving us more details soon.
Rogue Synapse is the sponsor for the Let’s Play Gaming Expo Arcade.
Originally started as a freeware gaming developer, they eventually added on the props and arcade collections section, but the games are still the main focus. Over the years the Rogue Synapse collection has grown from a few random pieces to hundreds of wonderful items from our TV, movie, and video gaming past. From an arcade that would make a bowling alley jealous to a unique assortment of television and movie props that would bring almost any sci-fi fan to his knees, if it rocks…they’ve probably got it.
Check out a few of the arcade cabinets and pinball machines that have been featured at LPGE. As always, stay tuned for new surprises this year!
