A Place for retired Computers to live their later years.
What happens to an old Mac?
If they’re lucky, they’ll end up at the Ztex Museum for Computers. Founded by Zachary Stewart, ZTEX Computer Museum collects, refurbishes, and exhibits vintage computer and computer peripherals as an interactive “living” museum. ZTEX Computer Museum will travel to vintage computing and video game conventions upon request or invite, and will be a part of this year’s Let’s Play Gaming Expo. They preserve and exhibit both hardware and software for posterity and enjoyment.
Upon request, they also fix and sell vintage computers, modern computers, parts, and peripherals, as well as accept most forms of e-waste, with explicit exception for devices containing restricted hazardous materials. All computers and computer parts received as recycle will have their personal data permanently and irrevocably removed using industry standard data erasure practices.
